Tara has successfully defended her thesis for a Masters of Environmental Design in Industrial Design at the University of Calgary. This follows a Bachelors of Environmental Design from Dalhousie University School of Architecture.
Her skills have developed as a result of this educational experience in combination with diverse work experience ranging from project codeveloper for a surgical medical device, to student architect intern, to positions held in a furniture store, a planning office and in freelance graphic design.
Tara is a product designer with a company that designs and manufactures office furniture and interiors. She also accepts contracts for custom pieces of interior detailing and residential furniture. Tara is an active member of the Industrial Designers Society of America (IDSA) and the Design and Emotion Society.
